Cool as a Cucumber
Hi everyone,
Sometimes I feel stuck, as if I just cannot move and I need to get out of a small room with the walls closing in. But then I think about somethings that help me to stay cool as a cucumber!
1. Put on your favorite song: Jamming out to the latest Ariana Grande album and dancing around your room may sound silly but sometimes you just need to feel like the rock star that you were born to be!
2. Make a list: List out your dreams, your plan to become the next big star, the places you want to visit. Making a list helps you feel like you have a plan, it can help map out the path you need to take to make your dreams come true.
3. Take a nap: Sounds simple but it is definitely effective. Sometimes a nap can just help you chill out and dream of a how you are going to take care of things when you wake up.
4. Watch you favorite movie or tv show: Even if you've seen it a thousand times watching something that makes you happy is going to make you feel a million times better. My personal favorites are Hart of Dixie, Big Time Rush, The Office, and How I Met Your Mother.
5. Take a step back: Sometimes you just have to look at the bigger picture. Was the situation that bad? Did they really mean what they said? How can I make sure this never happens again? Don't make any rash decisions, just think about the situation and look at the larger picture.
Those five tips are my perfect recipe for not losing your cool. Things may seem really sucky right now but it'll get better. I am here if you ever need to talk!
