Winter Essentials
Hi everyone!
This semester went by way faster than I thought! And all of a sudden it's winter (not technically, but weather wise it feels like it!)! Here are a list of things that help me to get through the dreary winter months!
1. Winter Coats: I bought a military jacket over the summer that has a fuzzy hood and it keeps me warm and adds an edgy side to any outfit! I love a good winter coat because there are times when you have a cute outfit on but no one sees it because it's so cold that people only see your coat. Therefore, it is really important to find a warm and cute winter coat!
2. Comfy Sweaters: Need I say more? But my three favorite places to get comfy sweaters are the thrift store, Forever 21, and Victoria's Secret Pink collection!
3. Deep Lip Colors: I use the Grapevine flavor of Baby Lips by Maybelline and it gives just enough color that you can tell I am wearing something and it also hydrates my lips. The deep color definitely goes with the darker toned clothes that I wear through the winter. But, I'm not going to lie I have definitely pulled out my bright pink colored Baby Lips just to spice things up once in a while :)
4. Long Sleeve Dresses: I recently bought a long sleeved dress from Forever 21 and I can honestly say that it is one of my smartest purchases. It keeps me warm and even if I wore it during another season it would still be comfortable and would not make me too hot. I also recommend getting a sweater dress because it will keep you warm and you'll look super classy!
5. Holiday Movies: No matter what holiday you celebrate you must have a favorite movie you like to watch every holiday season! My family and I watch The Santa Clause with Tim Allen every Christmas Eve and my sister and I have a Christmas movie marathon while we wrap presents for the family! And you can't forget the 25 Days of Christmas on ABC Family, they have some of the corniest and cutest movies on TV.
