4 Music Groups You Need to Hear

Hi everyone,

Summer is a great time to check out concerts and new music!  I have four music groups in particular that I always have on repeat.  If you haven't started listening to these bands you are missing out and definitely need to start now!

1.  A Great Big World:  You know who they are trust me!  Say Something was a big hit for them last year and Christina Aguilera added her vocals to the track as well.  I was lucky enough to see them open for Ed Sheeran earlier this summer.  Saying that have great stage presence is an understatement!  They made the audience laugh and blew them away with their catchy songs, amazing lyrics, and undeniable talent.  Their album is uplifting and inspiring.

2.  Bastille:  The song Pompeii is stuck in everyone's head but definitely in a good way.  Their album Bad Blood is beautifully written, I couldn't pick out a song that I don't like.  While not every song on the album is happy-go-lucky, their music is very chill.  I would place them in a rock/alternative genre. They performed at Coachella this summer, unfortunately I wasn't able to attend because I am incredibly broke.  But, I did find their set on YouTube, they put on a great show!

3.  The Vamps:  These British cuties are new to the American scene and just released their Somebody To You EP today.  Somebody To You was recorded with Demi Lovato and is one of my favorite songs of the summer!  While we are still waiting for a full album to come out, The Vamps have given us the perfect preview we needed to see just how good (and cute) they are.  This summer you can catch The Vamps on tour with Austin Mahone, Fifth Harmony, and Shawn Mendes.  Their pop/rock vibe is fun and perfect for summer.  Not to mention on the EP they release three original songs and two incredible covers (Midnight Memories by One Direction and She Looks So Perfect by 5 Seconds of Summer)!

4.  5 Seconds of Summer:  Is anyone talking about 5SOS? No? Well why not?!  This pop/punk, Australian band is burning up the music scene with songs like She Looks So Perfect, Don't Stop, and their newest single Amnesia.  5SOS opened for One Direction on their Take Me Home tour and now on their Where We Are tour.  They've been making tv appearances all summer and being very humble and surprised by all the support from their fans.  They were nominated for a Teen Choice Award and will be performing at the VMA's later this summer.  They released their full album on July 22nd and I'd be lying if I said Luke Hemmings wasn't my background on my phone.  Their songs are fun and the album is the perfect soundtrack for your summer!

XOXO
