Mindy Kaling: Celebrity of the Week

So it's about time I started talking about one of my role models. My sister told I had to watch her television show and read her book because Mindy Kaling is super funny and inspiring. I've been hooked ever since. Mindy wrote and played Kelly Kapoor in the NBC hit show The Office. After nine incredible seasons nine incredible seasons she wrote her amazing book, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns). I definitely recommend reading it, it's full of funny stories and advice. In 2012, Mindy started writing and starring in her own television show on FOX called The Mindy Project. Hands down my favorite show, they're in their third season now and just got picked up for a fourth. Not to mention Glamour magazine named her 2014's Woman of the Year!
Mindy has an amazing fashion sense as well! She incorporates a lot of color and patterns into her clothes in her show and in her everyday life. She has a classic look, with natural makeup most of the time, but sometimes a pop of color on the eye if it's a red carpet event.
